03.09.2007: MZK Zielona Góra has signed an agreement considering the “virtual monitor”-service

MZK Zielona Góra  has signed an agreement considering the “virtual monitor”-service according to which Seasam will provide MZK Zielona Góra with an internet browser and mobile phone browser based  passenger information service. The service is based on virtualTRAVELLER-module which is part of the SeasamTRAVELLER-product family.

The client has already bought other modules of Seasam rTraveller providing passenger information in real time on displays and this module is an addition for the existing system. 

The service is based on virtualTRAVELLER-software module which is provided for the MZK as an ASP-service. ASP (Application Service Provisioning) is easy, flexible and cost efficient way to get new internet services.

In ASP –model Customer gets virtualTRAVELLER-software module in used against monthly fee while Seasam takes care of the software maintenance, server hardware and server hosting facilities and bandwidth.  Customer does not need to invest in server hardware, operating systems and any software licenses or other technical resources.
