Real Time Passenger Information
Seasam House has a wide experience in working with different distributors of real time passenger information systems.
 In several different projects the SeasamTRAVELLER software has been adjusted to work as a part of a real time passenger information system provided by a third party, which produces estimations that are shown in different modules of the SeasamTRAVELLER software such as displays, mobile phones and the Internet.
Estimations made by the following real time systems are used by the SeasamTRAVELLER software in different projects:
- Thoreb Ab, bus and tram traffic system Helmi, Helsinki, Finland
- IVS Oy, bus traffic system Elmi, Espoo, Finland
- RHK, railway traffic system JUSE, the entire Finland
- Mizar Automazione, bus traffic’s Flash system, Oulu, Finland
Seasam House started to develop own real time information system in 2004 because we noticed shortcomings in all previously mentioned solutions. In addition, the purchase expenses of the systems in relation to the functionality and accuracy of estimations did not meet our requirements.
In autumn of 2006 rTRAVELLER real time system was launched in Turku, Finland and in Zielona Gora, Poland. In August 2008 City of Vaasa launched rTRAVELLER real time system.
Based on our experience and measuring we have been able to provide a real time passenger information system, which estimates reliably and accurately, to our clients with significantly lower expenses than our competitors.
