SeasamTRAVELLER is always tailored individually to meet the needs of each client.

Because of its modular structure all central functions of public transportation can be taken in use gradually, in synchronization with other development.

adminTRAVELLER

SeasamTRAVELLER is an information system based on the browser server technology and it can be used from any workstation with a web browser. Authorizations and profiles can be used to limit the use of different functions so that for example timetable information or traveller events can be updated by different operators and companies that provide the region’s events.

databaseTRAVELLER

The prerequisite of the efficient use of timetable information is a database that is suitable for the management and maintenance of timetable and traveller information. Scalable structure is the reason why databaseTRAVELLER is especially suitable for the needs of both small towns and for use which requires higher capacity. It is also possible to use the public transportation and traveller functions separately.

rTRAVELLER

rTRAVELLER is a software developed by Seasam House which provides timetable estimations based on positioning information and thus improves timetables which are scheduled for each bus stop.

rTRAVELLER is a part of Seasam House’s SeasamTRAVELLER passenger information system but it has been developed to be an independent part of the system. If necessary, it can be adapted to produce and utilize information from other information systems. rTRAVELLER is able to send estimations to other passenger information systems such as SeasamTRAVELLER.

mobileTRAVELLER

The mobileTRAVELLER module makes it possible to do individual route and timetable searches with a mobile phone from anywhere and anytime.

It is also possible to present information on traffic problems alongside the timetable information.

The service can be used with all mobile phones.

virtualTRAVELLER

The mobileTRAVELLER J2ME module enables the providing of completely new kind of passenger information services for travellers.

With the help of software installed in a mobile phone, users are able to create a portable display for their mobile phones. Personal profiles enable that users are able to follow with a mobile phone the timetable information of the lines and bus stops they have selected.

The virtual monitor is also available as a mobile browser and Internet version by which a personal display can be defined for a computer.

wwwTRAVELLER

The wwwTRAVELLER module is able to provide both traditional timetables and advanced route search services. The significant benefit of the solutions that are based on database is that you no longer have to separately maintain information for publication in the Internet.

You are able to take a look at the Internet services provided with the SeasamTRAVELLER software on the homepages of several Finnish cities.

displayTRAVELLER

Providing of the passenger information for displays situated in central places of the cities such as travel centres, market places and shopping malls improves customer service and also makes it possible to effectively provide information on special occasions and events.

displayTRAVELLERenables the control of displays of all major screen manufacturers and the control of technically different types of displays. The types of displays include for example TFT, LED, CRT and LCD.

The software also supports the control protocols of several different manufacturers.

printTRAVELLER

It is often time-consuming to manually maintain printed timetable booklets and timetables for bus stops.

printTRAVELLER enables the effective utilization of one timetable database in the production of print timetables. The process is more automated because printTRAVELLER provides material in the PDF and PS formats which are ready for print.

Information becomes more accessible in travel centres, stations and other central places such as shopping malls and travel agencies because of the user-friendly information services.

interfaceTRAVELLER

The maintenance of the timetable information in one database makes the functions more effective. interfaceTRAVELLER is a function used for conveying timetable, special and updating information that is in the xml and ascii formats. It is possible to automate the conveying of the information to other systems which use timetables by using interfaceTRAVELLER. interfaceTRAVELLER is based on the xml technology and in accordance with the standard interfaces of the common public transportation portals.

infoTRAVELLER

infoTRAVELLER is a program for controlling browser displays in info kiosks and other separate displays. The browser’s functions and graphics are in accordance with the guidelines set on info kiosks.
