SeasamTRAVELLER Comprehensive Passenger Information System

SeasamTRAVELLER is a comprehensive software product family for the needs of public transportation providers and users.

The SeasamTRAVELLER software is able to provide timetable information for all types of media. In addition to print and Internet timetables, the software is able to provide timetable and route search services for mobile phones and to control displays and info kiosks. Because of the centralized maintenance all changes concerning timetables, routes and for example additional information for an individual depart are made only once, after which the software takes care of updates for the Internet, mobile phones and displays.

The software’s easy to use interfaces, which are used with the Internet browser, have been developed in cooperation with cities and public transportation operators. Because of the browser-based interface it is possible to use the software with a user ID from any workstation on the Internet without specific software installations on each computer.

In addition to the needs of travellers, operators and cities, the standardization of the field and national public transportation portal (Matka.fi), among other things, have set requirements that we have met.

We actively study and develop the employment of real time positioning information of vehicles as a part of the public transportation services. Therefore special timetables and other information reach the passengers quickly.
